Margaret was a daughter of John and Pauline Brick. The was born in Marystown and the family later moved to a farm in Eden Valley. Margaret married Gothard Bauer who preceded her in death on June 27th, 1936.
Survivors include two sons, John Bauer of Manannah and Mike Bauer of Watkins; three daughters, Mrs. H. VanElsberg (Ceale), Minneapolis, Mrs. Louis Haaling (Theresa), Cold Spring, and Mrs. LeRoy Edwards (Veronica), Eden Valley (with whom Margaret had made her home the past 8 years. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 3 brothers, Wm Brick, Grey Eagle, Pete Brick, Waite Park, John Brick, Minneapolis, and 6 sisters, Mrs. August Hukriede, Eagle Bend, Mrs. Wm. Mammes, Aldrich, Mrs. Jerry Stelton, Minneapolis, Kate Stabler, Marie Buckley, Chicago, and Mrs. Gerhard Heibel, Eden Valley.
Margaret was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers' Sodality. Funeral services were conducted by Reverend Father P.J. Gruenes at the Assumption Catholic Church on March 8th at 9:00 a.m., with interment in Assumption Cememtery.
