Mrs. Lena W. Horning, seventy-six, New Holland R1, died at 9:50 a.m. Friday at home after an illness of 8 month.

She was born in West Earl Township, and was a daughter of the late John W. and Susanna Wenger Burkholder. She was a member of Fairview Mennonite Church, Myerstown.

Surviving, besides her husband, David H. Horning, Newmanstown R1, are these sons and daughters: Susanna, wife of Norman Weaver; John B.; Paul P. and Daniel B., all of Myerstown R2; Etta, wife of Howard Gingrich, Campbelltown; Elizabeth, wife of Adam Stauffer, Ephrata Rl; Aaron B. and Miss Esther, both of Lebanon R5; and Katie, wife of Edwin B. Nolt, with whom she resided during illness.

Also surviving are 25 grandchildren; one great-grandohild; and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Anna W.Weaver and Mary, wife of Samuel Good, both Stevens Rl; Lizzie, wife of Rufus Horst, Newmanstown Rl; .Daniel W. Burkholder, New Holland R1, and the Rev. John W. Burkholder, Blue Ball.
