Albina Josephine Kosar was born on December 15, 1907 in Richland Township, Adair County, Iowa to John and Josephine (Krisinger) Kosar. She was baptized at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Creston, Iowa on August 3, 1908. Barbara Sychra Krisinger served as godmother.

She married Anton Andrew Freouf on September 6, 1929 at St. Ambrose Cathedral in Des Moines, Iowa by the Rev. F. J. O'Conner. The couple made their home with the bride's parents for a short time until they moved to South Dakota and set up housekeeping.

Albina and Anton were the parents of two children. Harold was born November 12, 1931 in South Dakota and Phyllis was born November 4, 1935 in South Dakota. The Freoufs were members of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Martin, South Dakota.

Albina died on April 29, 1963.
