Olive Edna Pribble of Lansing, Michigan Olive was born on September 26, 1907 in Johnston City, Illinois. She passed away on November 5, 2007 at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan. Olive was the eldest daughter of John and Grace Barham. She graduated from Southern Illinois University to become a teacher. On January 20, 1927 she married James Pribble. Shortly afterward they moved to Lansing. Olive worked for many years at the Lansing Credit Bureau and was a long-time member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Olive had many creative hobbies and loved to travel. She was an avid bridge player. Olive had a life-long love of reading, a joy she passed on to her children. She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 1984. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 West Saginaw Hwy, Lansing 48917, with Pastor Kirby Smith officiating. The family will receive friends and family 6-8PM Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Barham Cemetery in Marion, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sparrow Hospital Cardiac Unit, 1200 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing 48912 or Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, 1210 E. Oakland Avenue, Lansing 48915, in memory of Olive.
