She was born October 18, 1918, in Washington, a daughter of Earl and Ella Bedillion.
Mrs. Bird was a member of West Washington United Methodist Church of Washington and Ladies Auxiliary of South Franklin Volunteer Township Fire Department.
On February 17, 1936, in Washington she married Harry D. Bird, who died in 1978.
Surviving are a son, Harry D. Bird Jr.; a brother Paul Bedillion; a sister Lucille Bayne; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a daughter, Irene Berisford; a son Demar E. Bird; a brother, George Earl Bedillion; four sisters, Jean Hancher, Madaline Elliott and Pearl and Elizabeth Bedillion; and a half brother, Howard Fairly.
