Son of Myra Desperques and Hewan Washington Freeman, adopted son of Glenn Dotson. Husband of Joanna Frances Kiraly Dotson.
Graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Self Employed Certified Public Accountant in Battle Creek, Michigan. Father of four children, two sons and two daughters. Grandfather and Great Grandfather, which was a very special role for him. Ken loved to bowl and golf in his free time. He volunteered at the Battle Creek International Balloon Festival every year. He volunteered and sat on many Board of Directors in the Battle Creek area. An active member of the Kiwannis Club of Battle Creek. First President for Battle Creek Unlimited, who presented him a gift to fly to London, England on the Concord Jet, before his death.
He and Joanna loved to travel after retirement.
He was cremated and his ashes were placed in Campbell Lake, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Private ceremony was held for his family. Joanna had a plaque marker made for him, that she placed in her garden. After her death, when her ashes were scattered in Campbell Lake, the marker was placed in the lake also.
