McGINN—THOE.—At the residence of Rev. Fr. Watry, Sunday evening, Feb. 12, 1888, Henry McGinn and Miss Agnes Thoe.
The above announcement while unexpected by many friends of the parties was not quite a surprise to a few of the more intimate acquaintances. The wedding was a very quiet one, for, although the announcement was made from the pulpit of the Catholic church Sunday morning, the parties outwitted their friends who were waiting for the event to take place, and were married Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. McGinn have many friends who will join the Dispatch in wishing them happiness and prosperity in their wedded life. The couple immediately commenced housekeeping at their residence on Main street. (Brainerd Dispatch, 17 February 1888, p. 4, c. 4)
