Graveside services for Walter K Cowden, 89, of Kerrville, who died Friday at his home, were to be at 3 pm today at Center Point Cemetery under the auspices of the Center Point Masonic Lodge.
A Kerrville resident since 1939, and a prior resident of Center Point, Mr. Cowden was born December 21, 1901, in Chillicothe. He was a member of the Center Point Masonic Lodge where he was a past master and had received his 50-year pin. He married Helen Rees on January 15, 1938, in Kerrville. She survives. Other survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. Grimes Funeral Chapel in Kerrville is in charge of arrangements.
