Jack S. Johnston, 64, passed away in Kalispell Monday afternoon. Mr. Johnston was born July 2, 1898, near Lake Blaine and had spent his entire life in Flathead County and had been engaged in sawmill operations.
He was a member of Aerie No. 234, Fraternal Order of Eagles of Kalispell. Feb. 13, 1918, he was married to Sadie Radabah in Kalispell and is now survived by his widow, Sadie, at the family home in the Columbia Falls area.
He is also survived by one daughter, Mrs. Earl (Gertrude) Weaver of Kalispell; six sons, Jasper, Howard, Clifford, Clair, and Archie, all of Columbia Falls, and Dempsey of Bend, Ore.; four sisters, Mrs. Charles Premble of Kalispell, Mrs. Minnie Howell and Mrs. Joe Opalka, both of Columbia Falls, and Mrs. Adolph Martin of Medford, Ore., two brothers, Clair Johnston and Roy Johnston, both of Columbia Falls and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Johnston have been set for Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Waggener & Campbell Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Werner, pastor of the (unreadable), Columbia Falls, officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
