He was born in Cincinnati, December 6, 1869, the son of David and Eliza(Kemp)Pierson, but had resided the greater part of his life in Shelby County and was a retired brick layer.
He was first married to Emma Maddox and later to Lula Pike, who preceded in death.
Survivors include a son, Arthur Pierson, of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Backus of Dayton, O., and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Sleeth Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. John C. Faust officiating.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
