Mr. Tom Anderson, a pioneer resident of this county, died Friday morning at his home a mile north of Lenora. The immediate cause of his death was heart failure altho he had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Anderson was born in Winneshiek County, Iowa, January 15, 1855 and was nearly seventy-two years at the time of his death. He was a fine farmer, a good neighbor and highly thought of by all who knew him, always genial, with a good word for everybody. He leaves a wife and six children to mourn the passing of a good husband and kind father. The funeral took place at the Henrytown church yesterday afternoon, Rev. Gerhard Rasmussen officiating. Interment was made in the nearby cemetery.
