Daughter of Ellis Marion Ward & Mary Dezina Lindsey. She was probably actually the daughter of Edwin Henson but always used the Ward surname. Mary and Edwin Henson were married February 15, 1874 in Jackson County, Illinois. I haven't found documentation that she was adopted by Ellis Ward. She was born in 1880, Ellis and Mary were married on August 16, 1881.
