Vicky Morris, 62, of Winterset, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. Her body has been
cremated with the cremains being buried in the
Winterset Cemetery.
Vicky was born on March 15, 1950, at Des Moines,
Iowa to Curt and Doris (Wight) Alexander. She was a 1968 graduate of Winterset High School and lived most of her life in Madison County. She was married on June 7, 1969 at Des Moines, Iowa, to Frank Leroy Morris and spent most of her life being a homemaker. She loved her children and grandchildren, her pets, baking, making candy, reading, gardening, traveling to Leech Lake, Minnesota, and being on the farm. She also enjoyed visiting with her friends.
Vicky is survived by her husband, Frank Morris of Winterset; children, Stacie Lee (Mike) Herrick of Duluth, MN and Jeremy (Amanda) Morris of Winterset; sister, Judy (Mark) McHose of Temecula,CA; and grandchildren, Julie Morris, Evan Morris, and Kayla Herrick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curt and Doris (Wight) Alexander; infant son, Curtis Morris; and sister, Jean Anne Alexander.
