Obituary: Died, at her home in Albion, Minn., April 8, 1891, Mrs. Elizabeth Cramer,in the 71st year of her age. Mother was born at Symmes Creek, Ohio, Nov. 30th, 1820. She with several brothers and sisters were left orphans when very young. She was first married to Alfred Day, of New York. After being married a few years he died and left her poor circumstances. She afterward married John Cramer. She leaves a husband and five children to mourn her death. Her only son died Sept. 7th, 1890. Our dear mother was an invalid for some four years - unable to do her own work, but bore her trouble patiently. April 6th she was taken suddenly worse and her children were summoned to her bed side, but 'ere they had all arrived she was only able to say yes or no. She became paralyzed, first on her left side and then gradually on the right, and then she calmly fell asleep - the peaceful sleep of death. We shall miss our mother, but we shall leave her with her God. As we beheld her cold form in death, and realized that those dear lips would never speak to us again, and those poor hands would never toil for us any more, if it were not for the hope of seeing her again at the day of reserection of the Just, the thought would be unbearable. Mother grew interested in the views of the Seventh Day Adventists, by reading, but never joined the Church, there being none here, but signed the Church Covenant and we hope to meet her when Jesus comes to reward all those who have been faithful. Words of comfort were spoken by Elder Charles Stanley, and then we laid her at rest in Buffalo cemetery. poem; Thou art dead, our own dear mother, Gone, no more to return again. And thy place can be filled by no other, Freed from trouble and from sin, Here we sadly miss the mother,When we go to visit home, And thy chair we leave to father, For we know that thou art gone. We gently fold thy hands across thy breast;Frail hands, but now at rest, Place one sweet kiss on thy dear brow, Farewell dear mother, till Jesus says, arise, ye blessed. We place thy form beside our brother, That you may sleep and rise together; Shall we meet beyond the river? God grant it so, and now farewell dear mother. Mrs. Emma Nary
