Funeral Rites Held for Mrs. Eleanor Baylor

Mrs Eleanor (Shaw) Baylor, 64, Lee Center, died Wednesday morning, March 13, 1974, at KSB Hospital, Dixon, following a brief illness.

She was born March [sic -- May] 22, 1909 in Lee Center, the daughter of Sherm and Grace (Bender) Shaw. She was united in marriage to Ormand S. Baylor on June 9, 1934 in Plainfield. She was a member of the Lee Center American Legion Auxiliary and of the Lee Center Congregational Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one half-sister and one half-brother.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Jack, Ashton, Dr. Edward, Lake Bluff, Dr. Ronald, Ritzville, Wash., and Dennis at home; three daughters, Mrs. David (Margery) Morris, Amboy, Mrs. Kenneth (Marilyn) Aucutt, El Paso, and Mrs. John (Ardath) Chapman, Green Bay, Wis.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Cluts Funeral Home, Ashton, with the Reverend Roy L. Comstock, pastor of the Lee Center Congregational Church, officiating. Burial was in Woodside Cemetery, Lee Center.
