Lee Center Girl is Meningitis Victim
Miss Gertrude Shaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman L. Shaw of Lee Center, died at the Evanston hospital late yesterday, death resulting from a short illness with meningitis. Miss Shaw was a teacher in the public schools at Winnetka. The body will be brought to Dixon this evening and taken to the home in Lee Center. Funeral services will be conducted from the home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Dunton of the Congregational church officiating. Burial will take place in Woodside cemetery.
