RONNIE T. ADCOCK

HAMPTON - Ronnie T. Adcock, 51, a former pipefitter for more than 12 years with Newport News Shipbuilding and a lifelong Peninsula resident, died Monday, March 14.

Mr. Adcock was a real estate agent with Larasan Better Homes for several years before opening his own insurance agency, Adcock and Associates. He was a former employee for several years with the security department at Yorktown Naval Weapons Station and a member of Westhampton Baptist Church.

Survived by his wife, Barbara B. Adcock; a daughter, Beverly A. Vaught of Hampton; a son, Ronald T. Adcock of Hampton; a brother, Elvis T. Adcock III of York County; his parents, Laura M. and Elvis T. Adcock Jr. of Yorktown; and a grandchild.

Funeral 2 p.m. today at Peninsula Funeral Home, Newport News, by the Revs. Barry W. Chinn and James D. Moynihan and Dr. James W. Anderson. Burial in Parklawn Memorial Park.
