He died at Stone County Hospital where he had been a patient for four days.
Mr. Anderson resided in Magee prior to moving to Saucier in 1949. He was a member of Saucier Baptist Church.
He was survived by four sons, Vernell Anderson, Wiggins, Cordell Anderson, Gulfport, Edward Anderson, Saucier; and Luther Joe Anderson, McHenry; two daughters, Mrs. C. H. Stone Jr., Oceans Springs, and Mrs. Cecil Holliman, McHenry; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Broom, Columbia and Mrs. Pearlie Knott, Laurell, 33 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
