She was married to Abe Aspiri and they had two children, Ray Aspiri and Josephine (Aspiri) Benson Rumreich. She had fond memories of driving horse and buggy to school. They owned and managed the Russell Hotel from 1944 to 1952 in Emmett Idaho. They were life time members of the Boise Basque club and the Boise Museum. Later they followed their grown children to Seattle.
She and her husband worked hard on a large cattle ranch and she worked as a grocery checker for many years at Ralph's Thriftway in Lacey, Washington. Upon retiring they moved to Seattle where they had rental properties and an apartment house on Boylston.
A mass will be held at Saint James Cathedral Chapel (804 9th Street) at 10:00a.m. on Friday, June 8th with a lunch following. The interment will be at the Vashon Island cemetery at 3:30pm.
