Mrs. Sarah Brallier of Greenville, 80 years of age who has resided in Clay county more than fifty years, died Wednesday afternoon, May 25, at 1:50 o'clock at her home. Death was caused by heart trouble. Mrs. Brallier had been failing in health all winter and was bedfast one week before her death.

She was born in Ohio March 1, 1852, where she lived until five years of age, when the family migrated to Iowa in a covered wagon and settled ear Shellsburg on a farm. Four years ago, her husband David Brallier passed away.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Delia Hagberg of Spencer, Mrs. Elsie Fisher of Maiden, Washington, Mrs. Nora Johnson of Hayward, Minnesota, Mrs. Dora Mills of Greenville, and Miss Mamie Brallier who made her home with her mother; three sons, Arthur of Sterling, Colorado, George of Laurens, and Merle of Mallard; 35 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her death two brothers and two sisters. Two daughters preceded her in death.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
