Rebecca Messick Jenks, 81, of Seattle and Carefree, Ariz., a retired buyer, died April 21, 1991, in a Seattle hospital.

Mrs. Jenks was a native of Seaford, Del., and a former resident of Bloxom, Va. She had retired from the book department of Strawbridge & Clothier, Philadelphia. She was a member of Bloxom United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Mary Baldwin College.

Survivors include her husband, Theodore C. Jenks, and a brother, Frank L. Messick of Parksley, Va.
