Mrs. Christina McKibben, and aged and respected lady, who for some time past has lived in Avoca with her son, Charles McKibben, died Friday after an illness of several months. the body was taken to her former home in the of Hoard where the funeral was held Sunday from the Methodist church in Towlesville. Mrs. McKibben was a native of Ireland, and when but a mere child came to this country with her parents. She became the wife at an early age of the late Andrew McKibben, who for more than 50 years was a leading and respected famer of the town of Howard. Four sons and four daughters survive her as follows: Andrew McKibben of New York; Thomas E. McKibben of Hornellsville; William H. McKibben of Howard; and Charles McKibben of Avoca; Mrs. Hollis Root of Alfred, Mrs. George Cochran of Hornellsvillle, Mrs. David McBeth and Mrs. John Gay of Howard. Her age was 83 years.
