Mrs. Mollie Burke Miles, 69, of R. F. D. 1, Metter, died in the local hospita1 Monday afternoon after a sudden illness. She was a native of Jenkins • County, Georgia, and the daughter of the late William and Irene Hurst Burke of Jenkins 1C'anrnly. Georgia, Mrs. Miles was a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church in Jen¬kins County. She is survived by her husband, Charlie H. Miles of R. F. D. I Metter; three sons, Marvin Miles, Metter, H. C. Miles, of Metter. and Evans Miles, Metter; four daughters, Mrs. Maudine Rabisch, Millen, Mrs. Bessieree McCullough, Metter, Mrs. Eldre Faircloth, Frost Proof, Florida and Mrs. Tholer Boyett of Metter; one brother, Wade Burke of Millen; six sisters. Mrs. Elizabeth Hurst Sardis, Mrs. Eva Joiner, Augusta, Mrs. Libby Burke, Millen, Mrs. Deal Lynn, Woodcliff, Mrs. Neal Oweus, Augusta and Mrs. Ellie Burke of Milledgeville, sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted at Rosemary Primitive Baptist Church, Wednesday afternoon. Burial was in church cemetery.
