Paul Robert "Moon" Rosenlund of Fairview passed away at home June 2, 2012. Born February 2, 1947 to Donald Paul & Ethel Minnie Christensen Rosenlund in Moroni, Utah, he was one of three children. He was raised on the family farm in Oak Creek, Utah.
Married Reta Hall September 3, 1965 in Manti Utah and sealed October 3, 1965 in the Manti LDS Temple. He lived and raised his four children in Fairview, Utah.
Paul was a gentle giant and loved helping others. He could always be found at the coffee shop visiting with the locals, a true Fairview Icon. He enjoyed going on the desert looking for lost treasures. Paul was an avid reader and was a great debater.
Paul is survived by his wife Reta of Fairview, UT; children Laurie & Tim Engel, Phoenix, AZ; Robert Rosenlund, Fairview, UT; Kelly & Shanan Rosenlund, Fairview, UT; Jennifer Rosenlund & Jenna Doe, Boston, MA; grandchildren Andrew Ty, Cooper Kelly, Ellie Amie Rosenlund, Avery Jaxon, Mason Kai Engel; brother Thomas & Judy Rosenlund; brother-in-law, Russell Allred. Preceded in death by his parents & sister Donna K Allred.
Graveside services will be held Saturday June 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fairview City Cemetery all are welcome.
