Rhoda Lena Richardson, 74, of 216 Vaughn Court in Campbellsville, daughter of the late Mr. George Washington Hunt and Mrs. Fannie Frances Wade Hunt, was born in Marion County, Kentucky, November 19, 1899. She died at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 28, at the Metzmeier Nursing Home in Campbellsville. She had been a patient there for the past two weeks. She had professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She united in marriage to Mr. Samuel Newton Bennett in 1930. He preceded her in death May 29, 1949. She later united in marriage to Mr. Dale Richardson September 23, 1957. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Dale Richardson of Campbellsville; four daughters: Mrs. Beulah Guinn, Mrs. Frances Knopp, and Mrs. Opal Wright, all of Campbellsville, and Mrs. Shelby Jean Moore of Greensburg; one step-daughter and three step-sons: Mrs. Roy Bell of Campbellsville, Star Route, Mr. Clarence Bennett of Campbellsville, Route 4, Mr. Garnett Shofner of Campbellsville and Mr. Owen Shofner of Springfield, Illinois. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Tom Forester and Rev. Ben Spencer. Burial was in Saloma Cemetery. Pallbearers: Hulett Nolley, Charles Nolley, Lawrence Hunt, Chester Gordon VanDyke, Joe Latimer, and Lewis Moore.
