Laura W. Lytle
Belvue-- Laura W. Lytle, 94, Belvue, died Monday, March 26, 2001, at an Alma nursing home.
She was born March 9, 1907, near Belvue, to Gilbert M. and Ida Weeks Morrison, and spent most of her life in the Belvue and Wells Creek communities.
She was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church in McFarland.
She married Floyd E. Lytle on Feb. 18, 1928. He died Sept. 7, 1978.
Survivors include two sons, Leighton Lytle and Mervin Lytle, both in St. Marys; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery south of Belvue. She will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m.
