Mr. Joe Nathan Cox, age 90, died on Sunday, January 29, 2006 at the residence of his daughter after a long illness. He was a native of Alabama and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by a loving wife, Mrs. Reatha Cox of Statesboro; two daughters, Dorothy Robertson McCutchin (Henry) of Statesboro and Bernice White (Patry) of Homerville, Ga.; one niece, Merrill Cox of Geneva, Ala.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Robena Raymond Memorial Chapel at Craig R. Tremble and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the Eastside Cemetery.
Mr. Cox can be viewed on Friday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. at Craig R. Tremble and Sons Funeral Home.
