Emma Paramore
The community was saddened the past week by the death of Mrs. Emma Paramore who passed away last Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Daily. Mrs. Paramore was an old timer here, having come to Logan with her parents as a child in the 1880's.

Emma Alice Septer, daughter of John and Sarah Septer was one of a set of twin girls born near Lima, Ohio on March 20, 1869, departed this life in Logan, Kansas at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Daily on June 12, 1946 at the age of 77.

She came with her parents to Logan when fifteen years of age, residing here for four years and then moving to the state of Illinois for two years where she was wed to Samuel Albright at Winchester, Illinois on August 24, 1891. The young couple returned to Logan that same year and resided on the homestead the husband had already filed on. There she has lived and made her home until the last four and one half months, when illness made it advisable to move to her daughter's home in Logan.

To this union two daughters and three sons were born, all of whom are living at the present time. She was a charter member of the Ruth Rebekah lodge of Logan and was an active member as long as health permitted. She attended a sod church about four miles south of Logan with her parents and later joined this church.

Her husband, Samuel Albright preceded her in death on October 1, 1922. She was united in marriage with Frank Paramore on November 29, 1932. He also preceded her in death on October 24, 1936.

She was a very loving and considerate mother and friend and her presence will long be remembered by those who knew her. She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Sarah Albright of the home; Mrs. Bertha Daily of Logan; Fred L. Albright of Speed; Carl Albright of Lenora and Ernest Albright of Logan; besides eleven grandchildren and one great granddaughter, Sherry Lynn Carr of Norton and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted in the Asbury Methodist church under the ministry of W. Ralph Long on June 15th. The singers were Raymond Lappin, Mrs. A.B. Limes, Paul Wallgrean and Mrs. Norman Wiltrout, accompanied by Mrs. Wilma Reese.

Interment was made in the Logan cemetery.
