Estella Anaya, age 84, resident of La Cienega, NM for the past 43 years, passed away her home on Sunday, October 14, 1982.
Stella is survived her husband, Tanquilino, sons, Edward J. Anaya and his wife, Cecilia and Henry Al Anaya and his wife, Irene, grandsons, Henry Anaya Jr., Charles James Anaya and William Martin Anaya, granddaughters, Lucille Romero and her husband, Andy and Kathy Anaya, her mother, Lucianita Leyba, sisters, Lucinda Chávez and her husband, Frank and Rufina Leyba and her husband, Willie, brothers, Miguel Leyba and Pete Leyba, sisters, Grace Varela and her husband, Tony, Henrietta Váldes and Ruby Yost, uncle, Vicente Leyba, brothers-in-law, Frank S. Anaya and his wife, Virginia, Juan B. Anaya and his wife, Jenny and Joe Anaya, sisters-in-law, Sofie Anaya, Guadalupita Carrion, Lena Alvarez and her husband, Juaquin, Leonor Anaya and Nemecia Chávez and her husband, Phillip and many other relatives.
Estella will lie in state from 2:00 p.m. today at Berardinelli Mortuary, where the Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Estella will lie in state from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at which time she will be taken to St. Anne's Catholic Church where Parish Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne's Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM.
