EUDORA, AR - Funeral services for Mr. Robert Edwin "Blue" Allen, age 60, of Eudora, Arkansas will be held at 2PM on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Macedonia Baptist Church in the Macedonia Community north of Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Reverend Mike Howard will officiate.
Internment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery near Oak Grove.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Blue passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012 in the West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove.
Blue was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for over 40 years.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Emma Grace Adams and his parents, Robert Leonard Allen and Pauline Pullin Allen.
He is survived by his wife, Toni Carol Rollins Allen of Eudora, Arkansas; son, Bryan Keith Allen of Oak Grove; son, Steven Andrew Allen of Oak Grove; daughter, Leigh Anne Adams of Oak Grove; brother, Marvin Allen of Oak Grove; brother, Lloyd Allen of Oak Grove; sister, Linda Armstrong of Monroe, Louisiana; sister, Barbara Rodriguez of Shreveport, Louisiana; uncle, Aubrey Allen of Oak Grove; uncle, Huey Allen of Oak Grove; uncle, Steve Allen of Lake Charles, Louisiana; uncle, James Edward Pullin of Jena, Louisiana; aunt, Annie Dawson of Oak Grove; aunt, Katie Allen of Oak Grove; 6 grandchildren; 8 nieces and 5 newphews.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 2, 2012 between the hours of 3 to 8PM at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove and Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 9AM until 9PM at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.
