R. H. Harvey English
Mr. R. H. Harvey English, 78, of Kennard, died Sunday in a local hospital.
Mr. English, a retired farmer, was born Nov. 10, 1890, in Houston County, and
was a lifelong resident of the County. He was a member of the Baptist Church,
and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy i World War I.
Funeral services were held in the Kennard Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Tuesday,
with Rev. Frank Oswald and Rev. E. P. Ramsey officiating. Burial was in the
Enon Cemetery.
Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Maggie English of Kennard; a daughter, Mrs.
Reba Brent of Kennard; two sons, Harvey L. English of Lufkin and Roy M. English
of Houston; two brothers, Bill English of Lufkin and Buck English of Houston;
nine grandchildren; and three great grandsons.
