"DODGEVILLE -- Mrs. Daniel E. Clark, 82, died Sunday (Aug. 26, 1973) in a hospital after a brief illness.
The former Margaret Cochran was born in Council Bluffs, Ia. She was married to Dr. Daniel Clark in 1914, and the couple lived in Chicago for most of their married lives.
Mrs. Clark was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of South Shore, Chicago, a 50-year member of the Past Worthy Matrons, past grand officer of the Illinois Grand Lodge, a member of the Dodgeville PEO and of the Dodgeville United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Hansen of Rantoul, Ill., and Mrs. Robert Royalty of Atlanta, Ga.; a son, Daniel E., Jr., of Pittsburgh, Pa.; three half-sisters, Mrs. John Kochel, Mrs. Edward Peterson and Mrs. Regina Wakehouse, all of Council Bluffs, Ia.; two half-brothers, Lincoln Bush of Manchester, Ia., and Frank Bush of San Francisco, Calif.; seven grandchildren and one great-grand-daughter.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lulloff-Peterson Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Eastern Star services will be held 8 p.m. Tuesday." The Capital Times (Madison, Wisconsin), August 27, 1973
