A native of Octagon GA, but came to Jacksonville from Atlanta about three years ago. Member of the Baptist church. Daughter of John H and Evelyn Baker THORPE. Survived by two daughters: Mrs CF Longine and Mrs PF(?) Dayo of Atlanta; one son DB of Jacksonville, a sister Mrs Ella Russell of Jacksonville; and 5 brothers: RS of Macon, LE of Memphis TN, SW of Spartanburg SC, CC of Miami and JS Thorpe of Jacksonville; Funeral services at 3pm tomorrow (12th) at 3pm The Rev James A Barbee officiating. Interment in the family lot in Evergreen.
