MOWEAQUA-Reva Alberta Beal, 85,of Moweaqua died 6:25 am Friday April 11, 1997 in her home. Services will be 2 pm Monday in Seitz Funeral home, Moweaqua with visitation two hours before services. Burial will be in Odd fellows cemetery,Moweaqua Memorials: First United Methodist church.
Mrs. Beal was born near Moweaqua on May 21, 1911 the daughter of Miller F. and Matilda Jane Neer Markwell. She formerly worked as a bookkeeper for Snyder's Garage. She was a member of the First United Methodist church, Moweaqua, Tacusah Chapter 682 Order of the Eastern Star and Mecca Shrine 53 Decatur.
She married Wayne Craven in Missouri in 1939. He preceded her in death in 1943. She married Ralph W. Adams in Moweaqua on Oct. 28, 1948. He preceded her in death on May 7, 1974. She married George Beal in Moweaqua on Oct. 30, 1976. Surviving are her husband, stepdaughter, Betty J. Bering of Decatur, niece Cathy Leahy of Albertville, Ala, nephews, William Ping and Orville Markwell both of Decatur, three step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, stepson, three brothers and four sisters.
