In a beautiful ceremony, Mrs. Annie Heinrich was laid to rest Saturday morning at the end of her earthly journey. Funeral rites were conducted from the Robertson and Seydler Funeral chapel at10 o'clock Saturday morning, with Rev. W. Wolf, Mrs. Hinich's pastor, officiating.

The impressive services brought consolation to Mrs. Hinrich's grieving friends and relatives, gathered at the chapel to pay their final tribute to her.

The services were begun with two beautiful hymns, "God Will Take Care of You," and "Rock of Ages." Rev. Wolf then read from Psalm 121 and 126, bringing a kind and sympathetic message based on Matthew 24:13, "He that shall endure to the end the same shall be saved." Mrs. Hinrich, Rev. Wolf pointed out, carried her cross of sickness for many years.

Interment was in the Woodmen cemetery, where another lovely hymn, "Nearer My God to Thee," was sung. Pallbearers were D. W. Heye, Robert Gerold, Ernest Pagel, Duncan Davis, Otto Wendel, and Arthur Spahn.

The profusions of beautiful floral offerings at the grave and in the chapel were tributes revealing the love and admiration which all who knew Mrs. Hinrich felt for her. She was a kind and loving person to all who knew her.

Her death Friday morning came as a distinct shock to her loved ones and friends. Mrs. Hinrich, a long time resident of Gonzales, was 70 years, 9 months and 16 days of age at the time of her passing early Friday morning after a long illness.

In Memory of Mrs. Annie Hinrichs

By Mrs. D. Hinrichs

I've often wondered in the past

Why mothers-in-law, so dear,

Would get the blame for everything

And even for a tear.

"I've wondered, too," she'd say to

Me,

"Why mother-in-laws to blame."

And since she's gone and left us

It isn't quite the same.

Oh!Yes, we'd sometime disagree

Over this or that, you see,

But, goodness knows! I loved her so.

''Twas me who was to blame.

She'd sit by hours silently,

Sewing, patching, smiling-

But, now I think her thoughts

we're these,

Of Angels humbly bowing.

There wasn't many things she did

Make us us complain,

But, if we just could have her back

We'd treat her like a queen.

This name, it seems, belonged to her

This "Little Mother" mine.

Your trouble now are erased.

Your life is all Devine.

The one and greatest wish she had

Was peace one to another.

I think I'll leave the "in-law" off

And call her "Little Mother."

And some day when we meet again

Grandfather, father, brother-

Sisters, too, and friends galore,

We'll live with Christ forever.

Daughter of Charles Busing and Katherine Bargmonn
