--Mrs. Margaret Ann Bloom, a brief notice of whose death we published last week, was born March 17, 1821, and died March 21, 1889. Her maiden name was Shirey. She was a dutiful wife, an affectionate mother, a good neighbor, and an amiable, Christian woman, having been a member of the Evangelical association for 41 years.
OBITUARY
Margaret Ann Shirey Bloom born in Pennsylvania in 1821, age 68 yrs. After the death of her husband she made her home with her son John J. Bloom, Park Township, St. Joseph County, Michigan. Died March 22, 1889. She died happy in the Lord, our loss is her eternal gain, gone but not forgotten. They were blessed with 13 children, 42 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren - By Rev. Doll

"A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is still,
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
God in his wisdom has recalled the bloom
his love has given and though the body
moulders here the soul is safe in heaven."
