Mildred (Wheeler) Fletcher, of Kingston, formerly of Carver and Marshfield, May 31, 2012 at the age of 89. Mildred was born in Pepperell and raised in Shirley. She moved to Marshfield in 1941 and then to Carver in 1984. Mildred worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk. Beloved wife of the late Edward N. Fletcher. Loving mother of Beverly Marks and her husband Alvin of Carver, E. Neville Fletcher and his wife Linda of Florida, Sister Mary Francis (Nancy), Sisters of Divine Providence of Pittsburgh, Carolyn Henderson and her husband Jim of Wareham, Arthur Fletcher and his wife Patti of Florida, Donald Fletcher and his wife Merka of Shutesbury, P. Michael Fletcher and his wife Martha of Chelmsford, Jo-Ann ODonnell and her husband Ken of Abington, Margaret DeGrenier of Raynham and the late Alfred Fred Fletcher and his wife Leeann Fletcher of Marshfield. Sister in law of Evelyn Wheeler of Groton and Jean Tantillo of Weymouth. Grandmother of 29, great-grandmother of 35 and great-grandmother of the late Hector Valenzuela. Daughter of the late Milton and Elmina (Leavitt) Wheeler. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte 139 Marshfield on Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, June 4 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann by the Sea, 591 Ocean St., Marshfield at 10 a.m. Interment in Winslow Cemetery.
