Marion F. Curtis of Macomb Dies
Marion F. Curtis, 62, of Macomb died at 4 a.m. today at McDonough District Hospital.
Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m., Tuesday at the Dodsworth Piper Wallen Funeral Chapel in Macomb. The Rev. Earl Clark will officiate and burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the chapel.
Mr. Curtis was born Dec. 3, 1912, in McDonough County, the son of Roy and Caroline Barrett Curtis. On July 11, 1940, he married Mabel Miller. She survives. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific, and was employed by the Haeger Pottery for approximately 20 years. He was a member of the East Bethel Methodist church since early childhood.
Mr. Curtis is survived by a daughter, Mrs. David ( Carol ) Baker of Good Hope ; a sister, Mrs. Robert ( Marjory ) Alexander of Macomb and two grandchildren.
