Alice T. Chamberlain, age 80, of Levittown passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2011, at St. Mary Hospital in Langhorne.
Born in New York City, she was a resident of New Jersey for many years before moving to Levittown in 1961. She was an employee of Switlet Co. and Heinamen Electric, both of NJ, for many years. Alice was a wonderful, caring woman who loved flowers, going to the shore, and life itself.
She was the devoted wife of the late James H. Chamberlain Sr.; mother of the late Adele Montgomery; and sister of the late Frances Flower and Carl Salmon.
She will be missed by her children Trudy Chamberlain of Fairless Hills, James Jr. and his wife Sandy, and Richard and Sophia Chamberlain all of Levittown, Michele Ann Stout of Warminster, Clifford of Las Vegas, Shawn and his wife Andrea of Morrisville, Kim Daryle of Croydon, and Fredric and Kim, and Kelly all of Croydon. She is also survived by 21 loving grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; her sister Susan Brewer of Browns Mills, NJ; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, 7-9pm, and Wednesday, 9-10am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown. Funeral services will begin 10am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Trenton, NJ
