"Mrs Matthew Janoski - Mrs Frances Janoski, 74, a resident of Lawndale, Calif, formerly of Erie and Little Cooley, Pa, died Sunday after an extended illness. She was born in Austria, Jan 27, 1896. Her husband, Matthew, died in 1946, and one son, Peter, in 1968. She is survived by six daughters, Mrs Mary Golden of Jersey City, NJ, Mrs Joseph (Catherine) Nardo of Erie, Mrs Anthony (Pauline) Ostrowski of Lawndale, Calif, Mrs Edward (Lena) Obuszewski of Torrance, Calif, Mrs Emanuel (Margaret) Sibley of Cypress, Calif, and Mrs James (Anna) Huntington of LaHabra, Calif; five sons, Joseph of Huntsville, Ala, Steve of Centerville, RD 2, Andrew and John of Erie, and George of Union City; 37 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the H W Musser Funeral Home in Union City...The rosary will be recited Thursday at 7:30 pm. Requiem mass will be held at Our Lady of Victory Church in Spartansburg, Friday at 10 am. Interment will be in Little Cooley Cemetery."
