At the age of 8 years he came from Wisconsin with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Hunnell, to Farmers Valley, Nebr.
He was married to Mary Sergist March 20, 1893.
In 1912, after a few years residence in Sutton, Mr. Hunnell with his family moved to Lawrence County, Mo., where they moved to Sheridan, Wyo., there he spent his declining days.
He leaves to mourn his departure, his wife, five sons and one [sic] dauhgter, Fred L., George M., and Roy E. of Sheridan, Wyo.; Wesley D. and Miss Edith of Chicago, Ill.; and Harry R. of Stockham, Nebr.; and five grandchildren; also one brother, Elifelet of Morril, Nebr.; and two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Van Matre and Miss Florence Hunnell of Portland, Ore.
Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Champion Funeral Home in Sheridan on Monday, Nov. 2nd, and the body, accompanied by his son George, was brought to Stockham, where another service was conducted at the home of son Harry Wednesday at 2 p.m., Rev. M. McClennahan of Hastings, Nebr., and pastor of the Stockham Presbyterian church, officiating. The interment was in the Farmers Valley cemetery.
