Lillian Loretta Standley, 83, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 at her home. Lillian was born on November 3, 1928 in Coloma, Missouri. She was a secretary until she went on disability in 1971. She lived in Lee's Summit, MO, until 2007 when she moved to Perry, KS. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emma Grace Davenport; her husband, Donald Standley, and 9 brothers and sisters. She is survived by 2 sisters, Gertrude Green and Betty Tatum; daughters Wanda Combs (Dennis) and Donetta Wooden; 3 grandchildren, Kandy, Kelly, and Travis, and 1 great grandchild, Lauren, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at the D.W. Newcomer's Floral Hills Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. following visitation.
