MRS. GEORGIA ANN FLEMING BENDERMAN
Services will be conducted this (Friday) afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Emenezer Cumberland Presbyterian Church for Mrs. Georgia Ann Fleming Benderman, widow of J. W. Benderman, who died at Columbia Hospital Wednesday morning. Mrs. Benderman was born at Russellville, Ala., but lived much of her life in the Scott’s Mill community near here, moving about four years ago to Columbia to make her home with her daughters Mrs. Grace Pulliam and Miss Mary Frances Benderman. Rev. W. O. Largen of Ashland City, assisted by Rev. James Kelso performed the rites. Mrs. Benderman is survived also by six sons, Urban H., Owen, Guy, Carl and Mack Benderman of Maury and John H. Benderman of Dallas; by three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Gilbreath of Lawrenceburg, Mrs. Alice McEwen of Columbia, Mrs. Felix Stockard, Dallas, a brother, Ward Fleming of Lawrenceburg, and by 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Interment was at Arlington Cemetery.
