Sullivan was the seventh of eight children born to Daniel Stuck (1838-1907) and Anatia Witwer (1846-1933). Daniel and Anatia married on 30 Oct. 1864 in Marshall Co., Indiana. (Note: The bride's name on the marriage record was transcribed as "Annetta Whitmer".)

Sullivan's siblings were: Carrie Alvesta (b.1865), Josiah W. (1867-1922), Henry Alburtus (1869-1940), Elsie Jane (1872-1949), Tynie Alice (b.1876), Matie L. (b.1881) who married George A. Shillinger, (Sullivan here in 1884), and Nettie D. (1886-1957) who married Walter Williams and Floyd Jeich.

I found his family on the 1880 Census living in Union (today Culver). Daniel was working as a house carpenter. I also found them on the 1900 Census, still living in Union, but Daniel was farming.

I found Sullivan on the 1910 Census living in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois with his older sister Matie and her husband George Shillinger. He was single and working as a brakeman on the railroad, most likely the Chicago- Northwestern Railroad.

I found a marriage record for a Sullvian Stuck for 4 Mar. 1920 in Morgan Co., Illinois, to Lola B. Akers, but when I found Sullivan on the 1920 Census, he was single, and living in Plymouth, Marshall Co., Indiana with his older sister Nettie, her husband Floyd, her son Leo from her previous marriage to Walter Williams, and Nettie's and Sullivan's widowed mother Annetta. Sullivan was working in a roundhouse for a railroad company.

On Sullivan's 1942 WWII draft registration card, he is still living in Plymouth, Indiana and working as an "engine checker" for a railroad company. He died eight years later in 1950 at age 66.

There is an infant child named Irvin, who was born in 1921 and who died in 1922 buried next to Sullivan.
