SARANAC- — Pauline Craig, 82, of Picketts Corner Road, died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at the CVPH Medical Center.
She was born in Vermontville on June 12, 1929, the daughter of Patrick and Goldie (Williams) Ledwith.
Pauline attended Peru High School. She worked for A & P, LaBarre's, IGA, Petrolane Gas Company, Shelton Cleaners, and later as office manager for the local cable company, all in Plattsburgh.
Pauline married Dale Tim Craig in 1997 in Richmond, Va.
She was a member of the Saranac Senior Citizens. She enjoyed crocheting, bingo, traveling, puzzles, playing cards and reading.
Survivors include her husband, Tim; two sons, Wayne Frenyea and his wife Marie of Gouverneur, N.Y. and Mark Frenyea of Dannemora; two daughters, Donna Reardon of Costa Mesa, Calif. and Michelle Cantwell and her husband James of Mountain Top, Pa; two sisters, Rita Stangrover and Margaret Makara, both of Plattsburgh; nine grandchildren, Stephanie, Michael, Patrick, Emily, Marcie, Kelly, Brett, Samantha, and Sydney; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Armond Frenyea; her second husband, Carl Kirk; two brothers, Raymond and Robert Ledwith; and one sister, Helen Paro.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home, 69 Court Street, Plattsburgh.
There will be no public funeral service.
A public graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, in the Saranac Independence Cemetery.
