Charles G. ODOM, son of Benjamin Franklin ODOM, Sr. and (2) Louisa Jane DAUGHERTY; born 29 August 1859, Cannon Co., TN; died (murdered) 19 January 1884, at age 24, (possibly Wilson Co., TN); buried at Odom Cemetery, near Auburntown, Cannon Co., TN.

He married 22 December 1878, Cannon Co., TN to Gertrude Tennessee GRIBBLE, daughter of (Judge) James Simmerol GRIBBLE and Samantha Jane WEBB.

Charles and Gertrude had two known children: Era ODOM and Leburn G. ODOM.
