Bertha Mae Duggins died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born April 20, 1941 in Louisiana, to Crewdson and Lena Lawson Turnbough.
She married Rudy Duggins Dec. 23, 1961 at the Second Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Mo. and he preceded her in death June 12, 1998. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Dale Duggins who died in infancy; her parents, Crewdson and Lena Turnbough; and by two brothers, Tom Turnbough and Harry Lee Turnbough and by one sister, Billie Jean McCurdy.
Graveside services for Mrs. Bertha Mae Duggins, 65, of Pleasant Hill, formerly of Louisiana, Mo. will be held at 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, Aug. 23 at the Crescent Heights Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. The Rev. Mark Sheppard will officiate. Visitation was held Saturday, Aug. 19 at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. Mrs. Duggins wished to be cremated following the visitation.
Memorials may be given to the Crescent Heights Cemetery.
