"Mrs. J. H. Brown, 79, a former resident of this city, died Monday at Milwaukee. Funeral services were held in Eau Claire at the First Presbyterian church [sic] yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial at Forest Hill. Mrs. Brown lived in Eau Claire until seven years ago. She leaves to mourn her loss two sons, James of Raddisson and F. D. Brown of Eau Claire and two daughters, Mrs R. K. Shaw, Worcester, Mass., and Mrs. E. F. Aber of Wauwatosa, Wis."
