Meta Isabelle was born to William John and Johanna Louise (Faust) Barchenger. She was baptized on September 20, 1903 in the St. John's Lutheran Church, Krain Township, Minnesota. Her baptism sponsors were Fritz Baugatz and Emma Sophia Barchenger. She married George Moore and they had one daughter, Bonnie Lee Moore. She later married Clarence W. Burger. She worked in the office of the J. C. Penney Company for many years. She was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had 11 siblings: Louise Emma (Theodore) Teske, Henry Carl (Frieda Schroeder, Hilma Lyng, and Marie Alpress), Friederick John (Caroline Bokeman), Edward Carl, Christoph George (Sophia Schroeder and Clara Rueffer), Carl Alwin (infant), Eleanore Mathilda, Otto Max, Adolph Emil (Elizabeth Blash), Lyda Johanna (William) Cook, and her twin, Olga Roselia (Van Canervan) Jones. The funeral service was held on November 7, 1959.
