Olga Rosalia was born to William John and Johanna Louise (Faust) Barchenger. She was baptized on September 20, 1903 in the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Getty Township, Minnesota. Her baptism sponsors were Emma Baugatz and Herman Barchenger.

She married Van Canarvan Jones on May 16, 1928 in Long Prairie, Minnesota (probably at St. Paul's Lutheran Church).

She was a filing clerk for the Milling Company for many years.

She fought a courageous battle for breast cancer before going to be with her Lord.

Left to mourn her death was her mother; daughter, Mayva Mae (James) Petschow; brothers, Henry Carl (Frida Schroeder) Barchenger, Frederick (Caroline Bokelman) Barchenger, Christoph George (Clara Rueffer) Barchenger, Otto Max Barchenger, Adolph Emil Barchenger (Betty Blash) AKA, Raymond Richards); and sisters, Elenora Barchenger, Lydia Johanna (William) Cook, and Meta Isabelle (George) Moore.

She was preceded in death by her husband; father; brothers, Edward Carl Barchenger and Carl Alwin Barchenger; and sister, Louisa (Theodore) Teske.

The funeral was held in the same church on February 21, 1944 with burial following the service.
